There comes a day and a time when pure greatness is created and released, this is one of those moments. Capcom's famed Devil May Cry series has struck it rich with its newest instalment; Devil May Cry 4. With its epic story, outstanding graphics and the most badass characters you'll ever see, makes this game one that everyone will need to complete their game collection. To those who don't know of the Devil May Cry series, let me elaborate for you. It is set in a world that's constantly under harassment from the demon world, and always some psychopath wanting ultimate power (you know, the typical conquering the world scenario). The story focuses on the ... Read the complete review

Devil may cry 4 is one of those games that when you start playing you just cant put it down. I've got every Devil May Cry game to date and this is one of my favourites! The action is full and requires alot of button bashing, to kill the monsters. The graphics are a massive step up to the others in the series and i never found a single graphics glitch. The downside i found was the camera angle can sometimes be placed in the most oddest of angles that makes even simple jumps a pain. The fights are great and the music changes to a great rock beat, you have a sword to start with and a gun. Every attack you do is graded for example if you pull of some ... Read the complete review

DMC 4 is possibly the best installment of the series, and with this rather impressive claim I find we'd be hard pressed to deny it. The new additions in DMC 4 may make a few call it DMC 3 and a half but these additions are more then just features added onto the existing battle engine, on the contrary these additions have completely changed the way a player deals with combat! Though a few people would disapprove of the fact you're not playing as Dante throughout the entire game the fact that the new character has been given his own fighting style is a testament to the diversity you're going to be experiencing. There are a few things that were a let ... Read the complete review

=Introduction= I love the Devil may Cry series and bought this game as soon as it was released. Obviously as a lover of the series, I bought the Limited Edition. It features a metal tin, and a small artbook from the game. These are the only differences from the original edition which is quite disappointing, especially when compared to the Animé DVD released for the American Limited Edition. =Gameplay= DMC4 features the regular hack'n'slash action to be expected from the series. DMC4 features a new character, Nero, and with the new character comes new functions. Nero's sword can be revved like a motorbike, which is done so by pressing ... Read the complete review

Now, I've never played a Devil May Cry game before, but I was attracted to this one when I tried out the demo on Xbox Live shortly before the release. The demo enticed me in with its beautiful environments, impressive animation and complex but intuitive skill-based combat system. The full game doesn't disappoint. Devil May Cry 4 is essentially a really elaborate hack n slash game, and it is on this level that it succeeds. The combat is a hell of a lot of fun, and as you get better at the game you find yourself pulling off more and more impressive combos and fighting with multiple baddies with increasing finesse. You have three main tools ... Read the complete review
