Point Lookout is just one of five possible downloadable packs available for the already massive Fallout 3 and can be purchased through Xbox Live for a large chunk of Microsoft points. Or, if you don't want to download each pack seperately of course, you could just do what I did and trade in your copy of Fallout 3 for The Game Of The Year Edition which contains all five as part of the package on a seperate disc! This is the first downloadable mission pack I have played for Fallout 3 and, once installed, loads up a new message on your PipBoy; the device that tells you your current status, lists your inventory and lets you see which quests are currently ... Point Lookout is the third addon for the RPG Fallout 3 and is, quite possibility, the best. Point Lookout takes place in "Point Lookout", a large new area which was unaffected by the nuclear holocaust that happened in the Capital Wasteland. This means that "Point Lookout" is marsh-like, full of strange plants and harbours crazy new swamp creatures. This new environment is a great change from the boring barren wastelands and the new creatures look like they've been taken directly from a Lovecraft novel, which is not a bad thing at all. Point Lookout is the third in a series of downloadable expansion packs for post-apocalyptic role-playing first-person shooter, Fallout 3. The expansion begins in a similar vain to that of its predecessors, The Pitt and Operation Anchorage, with the Lone Wanderer (The player) receiving a note on his Pip-boy wrist-held personal computer, this time informing him of a riverboat landing at the bottom of The Capital Wasteland.
