This game was a pain to play, it get boring fast, and I mean fast like really, really fast.
As I type this, I can already feel the hate for the game, but I'm going to give it a chance and write a well constructed review of it.
The game play consist of a character, security officer arriving in Africa, everything is calm at first and then, BAM! he's getting shot left, right and center (as Africa is a war zone for those who are even the slightest educated in current affairs). Though the character doesn't get injured and wakes up with 'malaria'. Yes, that horrible disease that kills millions a year, worse than a bullet to the brain. The disease that can be cured. Firstly how the hell does this mechanic help the the player it's bad enough as it is getting shot by enemies and health in this game is unforgiving. This distracts the player and makes me sick to my stomach. As the designer should be slapped for this.
The scenery is bland as a desert can be, yellows and white, just like a real desert. I never walked anywhere and the animations were just horrible, it's down right disgusting. It's like if you hired Banjo players to rub a pork down it'll just stink up the place. This game could of been better the engine that it was released on was marginally great for it's time and the developer was Ubisoft. A rising power in the industry, They could of done better to say the least.
