=== The product ===
This is an Xbox Live Arcade game where you are responsible for looking after a tank of fish. There are various types of fish in the game and each will outrank other fishes and possibly even eat them meaning it's game over for you!
=== The cost & where to find this ===
This can be purchased from the Xbox Live Arcade for a price varying from 400 to 800 Microsoft points depending on the current promotions or it can be purchased on the Xbox Live Arcade Compilation Disc, from Amazon.co.uk, for around £6.95 including free delivery (price correct November 2011).
=== The gameplay ===
There are 40 levels in this game, each of them being designed to be progressively harder as you play. The concept of the game is quite simple. You will begin the game as a certain fish type (angel fish, lion fish, angler fish, john dory fish or an orca fish) and each of them has a different feature. As you progress through the levels you will unlock bigger and better fish to play with and as you become a bigger fish there are more fish smaller than you that you can eat to earn points and progress to the end of that level.
=== The achievements ===
As this is an Xbox Live Arcade game there are only 200 achievement gamer score points up for grabs. The achievements are quite varied and some of them take a fair few hours of gameplay to unlock. There are achievements for completing the game, playing for a certain amount of hours, earning a certain amount of points and others too.
=== Overall opinion ===
This game is quite a lot of fun, even if it does not hold my attention for hours on end anymore. Whether playing in the normal mode or the time attack mode I find this game to be great fun. As I progress through the levels this game becomes harder and harder and this is probably what I love about it the most. Once my limited amount of lives are gone I have to start all over again, but I generally find it quite difficult to run out of lives, or even use one, until I am at the later levels out of the 40.
I have had this game for around 4 years now and even now I have not completed all of the achievements, just most. I generally find myself returning to this game when I have some time off work or a free day to myself and I am looking for something a little different to do. Some of the achievements are designed to take a long time to work on and I know that eventually I will complete the game and earn the full 200 points towards my gamer score.
I love the little features that each of the fish can do, whether sucking in other fish around or using a screen bomb to eat everything in sight there is lots to do in this game and lots of little features that bring something else to the game and help me get through it a little bit quicker.
Overall I quite like this game, the graphics are average, the sounds can be a little annoying once you play the game for more than ten minutes, however, there is just something about the ease of the game. I start playing it and before I know it an hour has passed me by in a blur and I've burnt the dinner!
Summary: A fairly fun game from the Xbox Live Arcade.
