      great game hame about the developers

      fifa 12 is probably the best fifa i have played so far its a pity EA are very strict on there rules i got reported online on fifa 12 didnt do anything wrong and they banned my EA profile, which means any EA game from now on i cannot play online cos if EA ban your gamertag from there servers you cant play any of there games online.
      Now the game itself is really fun there are lots of skill moves and my favorite thing is the arena as you can just practice 1 on 1 with the goalkeeper or practice set pieces etc. there are lots of different game modes the most popular on xbox live being ultimate team where you buy players and make a superstar team for fifa coins or virtual pro where you do challenges to get your own created player ranked up with other people online.
      The gameplay is very smooth but like all football games i find the commentary in game quite irritating,so if you want a great football game without a bad developer go buy pro evolution soccer if not then fifa i for you.

      handy hint: currently fifa 13 demo is available to downlaod off xboxl ive

        Disadvantages

        Great Game especially if its your first of the Franchise

        FIFA 12 is the best release to date of any football game. The graphics surpass that of any other even if they arent perfect and for the big stars you can see they are very similar but the lesser players are very poor. FIFA has always been my preferred title over PES and the gap that used to be quite small around PES4 and even up to PES6 between the 2 games has gotten to an extreme where I dont understand why people choose to play PES with FIFA available to buy. The features and modes in FIFA are simply brilliant with Ultimate Team now free and available on release of this game it one of the most loved fantast modes/games on the market. Career mode is as good as ever even if it isnt quite groundbreaking yet. Online the feature Head to Head seasons is a welcome addition where you recreate a league format with every win counting as 3 points and a draw getting 1 point; you are set a traget e.g 15 points to get promoted and if you are out of the bottom divison 10 then you will have another target purely for avoiding relegation. This really gives you more to work towards in online modes and there are now cups every weekend to enter as a change of pace to playing in the leagues. The gameplay itself is similar to FIFA 11 but is better with the addtion of tactical defending where the automatic tackle if you hold down B is gone and you now need to be more careful and think before pressing the B to tackle.

        All in all FIFA 12 beats its competitors by a mile but isnt quite the finished article, which is scary for the competition really. If you are new to the franchise get it, if you dont have muche left over cash after the bills and already have FIFA 11 might want to wait until FIFA 13 comes out for more radical changes.
        Great Game 9/10

        Advantages

        Disadvantages

        Does have its flaws but overall a good game.

        I consider myself a Fifa enthusiast having purchased the last three although my relationship with the franchise is one of mixed feelings. Some time ago when the time came to choose a football game I was quite happy with pro evolution soccer. Even with PES's inferior graphics and lack of licensing it was still more entertaining than Fifa and I really enjoyed playing as my beloved Merseyside Red. However Fifa did up its game. Game play improved considerably and I must admit at times Fifa 12 boarders on life like. Some of the biggest improvements this year include better defending (although the defenders are still prone to the odd blooper). More realistic control and passing have improved the feel of the game and now matches are not solely decided on who has the faster players.

        As well as game play improvements EA have also added new ways of playing. They have been perfecting alternative game modes like virtual pro and ultimate team for a while now. Virtual pro is great as you play as your own custom built man improving as you complete the game and can even play as a team with other virtual pros of your friends. This mode compels you to play in order to improve your pro's attributes and complete achievements. Ultimate Team too is an excellent add-on and an innovative idea. Building your own team is fun and the ability to auction players and buy player packs makes the game very addictive. Quite the little money maker for EA too, given you can purchase player packs with real money.

        However I must end on a negative note. There is no coincidence EA won worst company in America this year. The pass that you need to play online means you cannot buy the game cheaply second hand any more. I get the feeling that EA, rather than looking for ways to improve the game are really looking for more ways they can take your money. I bought the Euro 2012 add-on and frankly I wish I hadn't. The game is good, but not that good, like I mentioned there are still some mistakes which often look ridiculous. However at the minute Fifa doesn't really have any competition as PES still lags behind in many ways. As a result I think I might be buying Fifa 13 come Christmas.

        Advantages

        Disadvantages

        FIFA improved a lot in recent years.

        As a long standing and ever popular franchise EA SPORTS didn't really need to much to enhance their football game this year. Last year I think really saw a change in the FIFA franchise where the game actually resembled a football match. At the early part of the last decade FIFA were, in my opinion eclipsed by Konami and their Pro Evolution Soccer games which didn't have as good graphics or licences as the FIFA games but their control method and gameplay actually made for a far more realistic football game. FIFA has redressed the balance in the last couple of years and whereas in previous incarnations if the game all you had to do was press the tackle button repeatedly and get your self in a position to shoot where the ball always goes in, in recent years some guile and precision has come into the equation. That's the main change in gameplay this year tackling has improved no end and defensive play inngeneral requires much more thought than before. The normal game modes are ever present as is FIFAs highly polished feel. In my opinion the best way of playing the game is in two player mode, wether with a friend or via Internet as I think that the computer settings are very generic and the CPU never seems to make mistakes which can be frustrating. Other than that it's a solid game and a lot if fun to play with friends.

        Advantages

        Disadvantages

        Not worth the money or time.

        Fifa games always sell rather well and its largely because of a tried and true formula - simple controls pick up and play. This is fine and makes for a good gaming experience for any fan of football. Problems arise when you play more than 50 games. Fifa 12, like its predecessors, was released with several adverts claiming further improvements on tactics, player likeness and personalities etc usually with a quick video of the most famous footballers showing off with various ludicrous skills. 12's big selling points are trivial things such as 'player impact engine' an idea that was bound to go wrong from the start, causing players to crash into each other, flexing all over the turf at the slightest of knocks. 'Tactical defending' basically means defenders suddenly play better than they did in previous Fifa's. 'True Injuries' means your players will not only get hurt in games but be out for 12 months from an unknown 'training injury'.

        Also introduced is a change of control which removes the 'A' standing tackle and essentially makes it 'Hassle' a player which can be a bookable offence in the first minute. Tactics have been horrendous throughout the franchise, particularly dead ball situations where EVERY free kick taken by AI will be a hoofed long-ball into your penalty area without fail. Skill moves will fail against AI or prove to be totally lacking in benefits. Players such as Frank Lampard and Steven Gerrard, fine players, will almost always do a 'roulette' skill move to avoid you, then continue on to do numerous 'step overs' and release a thunderous, wondergoal strike from 40 yards. I noticed that in over 100 games of Fifa12 I had only been fouled by the AI a handful of times and experienced just ONE red card against me - thats either a massive coincidence or poor refereeing. So the multiplayer is the only way to enjoy some fair football, so you are going to need xbox live gold and hope no one quits or always chooses Barcelona (the most overpowered team in Fifa). On the plus side, you get all the new 2011/2012 kits, latest transfers as of 2011 and a better experience system so that young players actually improve.

        Menu navigation is actually quite pleasant, you get some decent modes to be a manager, player or be a pro etc. Manager mode is largely flawed due to players simply disappearing after 2-3 seasons, transfers are often baffling as clubs will reject a large bid from you and accept a mediocre bid from a lower team. A good example is Bastian Schweinsteiger who regardless of how much you offer him and his club, he will reject it then leave the club on a free to moneybags manchester city. A positive is that 12 introduces the deadline day which usually sees several last minute buys that appear realistic. The music has always been horrendous in Fifa games and this one is no exception - mostly uninterpretable rap, festive brazilian tripe and the ting tings - Awful. However the real disappointment is the addition of CPU and user interface options which allow you to effectively alter or even undo the games advancements. You can increase the error ratio of the AI's passing, decrease AI acceleration or increase either the AI's or your own, taking away any sense of achievement, as well as tampering with what is meant to be a realistic game. Its pretty clear that this game is catered for the occasional gamer who either only plays online or sparingly in spare time, in that instance its a good game, but by that logic it may as well be rented or at least purchased at a far lower price.

        Its safe to say that a lot of the games are blatantly scripted - you could be playing a top 3 team and breeze past them 4-0, then come across a league 2 side and find all their players sprinting past you in well drilled formations. You can't sprint past anyone, 20 vs 40 years old is a close race apparently. Should you score at any time in the game, be prepared for a 90 minute equaliser in which you'll bear witness to balding centre backs doing thousands of step overs and tricks (which force your 'controlled' players fall arse over head) and score a screamer from 40 yards with the outside of the boot - rubbish.

        THE BS SUMMARY
        Tackling
        'B' tackles almost always miss
        'B' tackles that are landed are fouls
        'B' tackles stagger your player whilst the opponent legs it
        'X' tackles winning the ball from ANY direction are worthy of a red card
        'X' tackles aka SLIDING tackle, barley covers any distance
        'X' tackles normally end up with you taking out the player whilst committing handball
        Run into an opponent with the ball and you'll lose it
        It is genuinely impossible for the AI to run into your players

        Shooting
        Any shot outside the box can and will be blocked
        Using 'Finesse' will guarantee either woodwork or standard hopping save
        Chipping doesn't work, ever.
        1 vs 1 with the keeper is stacked against you
        if you're VERY lucky, you can score via deflections
        Only strikers can shoot properly, everyone else hits row Z

        AI Teammates & Opponents
        The opponent AI 'know' what player you are controlling, thus gaining advantage
        Your teammates run offside deliberately
        Your teammates get in the way of passes, shots, clearances, blocks
        Your controlled player will sprint to knock the ball out of play

        Skill Moves
        Any AI player has a vast repertoire of exotic moves that ALWAYS work
        95% of the time, your skill move will be watched then followed up with a tackle

        Customisation, AKA Cheating
        Default settings apply error to your passing & shooting, WHY?
        Speed up your players and knacker them out quicker
        Make AI players get injured easier, most enjoyable aspect of FIFA is sadistic
        Alter AI tactics so they play like bumbling idiots

        Best football game ever

        The first game I bought for my Xbox 360 was FIFA 11. At the time I was a FIFA virgin, but a couple of days inot playing it, I became hooked. Months passed where I would spend time with my girlfriend and play FIFA 11, the two often fighting for my attention.. I then moved house and left it in its box and forgot about it for a while.
        Soon after, FIFA 12 came out, and having a healthy bank balance at the time, I decided to purchase it along with Xbox Live.
        And what a purchase it was.
        I thought FIFA 11 would be hard to beat but 12 beats it on every level. Great graphics, brilliant online mode - I always play head to head seasons where you start at division 9 and play against strangers online to hopefully reach division 1, the summit of fifa (like i did)!
        Another favourite of mine is the online friendlies section where you can play against friends online, always nice to beat your mates!!
        Career mode has improved since last year, with transfer deadline day an exciting time with players to-ing and fro-ing from clubs, just like in the real Premier League!
        Overall the gameplay is fantastic, master the defending and you will master the game, I will tell you no more but let you find out yourself what a gem of a video game this is!

          Advantages

          Disadvantages

          A great game more realistic then ever before!

          Fifa 12 is the best and most recent FIFA to come out. I honestly didn't think they could improve much from Fifa 11 however i was wrong.
          The gameplay is a whole lot better as they have added 360 degree dribbling meaning you can take the ball in literally any direction this makes the FIFA experience a lot more realistic and gives you greater freedom on the ball.
          The defending has alos been updated it is now more complicated however once you get the hang of it you really start to see the benefits of being able to shut down players differently. The new player impact system also makes the game feel more realistic, players now bounce of each other and react differently each time they are tackled.

          The career can get slightly boring as you go on as there is only a limit to how much you can enjoy playing the computer constantly.

          Online Multiplayer:
          FIFA have added Head to Head seasons, you start of in division 9 and you will compete against players from all around the world who are trying to get into Division 1, you need to get a certain amount of points in order to get promoted if not you risk relegation.

          Fifa 12 is a great game and is much more realistic then any other Fifa game.

            Awesome game looking forward to the next one!

            EA Sports have excelled themselves once again with the latest addition of FIFA 12. Added extras such new skill moves, much better balanced games, and more intuitive indivdual moves (depending on the player). It quite clearly is the best football game ever released to date!

            From someone who used to be an avid Pro Evolution fan, it has taken a few years for the FIFA brand to get it right. Outselling Pro Evo easily since FIFA 10...The finer details seemed to have been looked into throughly especially when you bump into other players or their reactions and making this game very realistic.

            Defending in the game seems to be a lot more difficult, resulting in high scoring games. Something that take a little getting used to, and trying not to be "gun ho" when trying to close down the attackers.
            Where as attacking seems better with the ability to score "great goals" even outside the box.

            Online play is great, with the option be be a player manager/ Manager or even goal keeper.

            Keep up the good work Fifa...roll on FIFA 13!

            Advantages

            Disadvantages

            Good game

            I own an XBOX 360 but only have a handful of games I own and play. I have always been a fan of FIFA and every year I purchase the new one.

            Fifa 12 by electronic arts can be brought for between £40 and £45 or cheap if brought with other things, usually found in supermarkets.

            Probably then longest running and well known series in the gaming industry returns with this latest edition. Although electronic arts have been criticised in the past for re-releasing titles annually with little change and "cashing in". I personally love and very much look forward to the subtle changes made in search for the perfect football experience.
            This edition doesn't disappoint, the game play is extremely fluent and as realistic as ever along with the ever increasing amount of game modes growing further.

            The biggest change from Fifa 11 is the defending, this has been changed to represent the real game more closely which it does, although more skill and concentration is require getting it right.
            For me the best addition is called "Head to Head Seasons" which allows you to play on line via XBOX Live or equivalent and play towards promotion or try to avoid relegation if things don't go so well!!
            Cup matches are also playable during the season. This game has everything here for the Footie fan.

            This game has great graphics, great sound, huge content and superb attention to detail which all helps to capsulate the game perfectly.

            For me this game is a 5/5 although FIFA 11 was aswell. If you want a great football game buy this regardless of your age. It far better than any rival games such as Pro Evo, but if you already have FIFA 11 and you are not anal about detail consider your money first.

              Advantages

              Disadvantages

              Buy it and take your time with it. Through the wall, there's a thing of beauty waiting for you.

              Maybe you read my review on FIFA 11 last year, or maybe you'll go back and read it after you've read this one. Maybe you didn't and won't. Whatever category you sit in, I'll let you know that I considered FIFA 11 to be the very best football game EA Sports have offered for a long time. But EA Sports have now made that review pointless and seriously outdated with their release of FIFA 12.

              The first thing I must point out is one major change in the engine EA Sports use to make FIFA games.

              Tackling has been "improved" to avoid the over-use of the "A" (X360) and/or "X" (PS) which frustrated many last year with it being too reliable. This time, it's much more of a challenge, with "A"/"X" now putting pressure on the opposing player a yard away from him. "B"/"O" will lunge in for a standing tackle, or grab the opponents shoulder if he is by his side or behind him (which can result in a foul if persistently done) and "X"/"Square" will slide tackle, and from the standing tackle last year, compared to this year, it will take a few games to wrap your brain around. But it's perfectly possible, and while you can look quite foolish missing a tackle, you also get a sense of accomplishment for being successful in a good tackle.

              With tackling comes player collision, and herein is where a problem lies for this quite remarkable game.

              Players react to everything now. Barring coded wind or rain, when the ball or another player, opposing or a team-mate, your player will react to him if there is physical contact. They will fall over, spin around, and players even turn to the referee and protest about the other players conduct. And because of this, little bugs and glitches can be seen, with players being known to fly off unrealistically and even awkwardly fall and land in sometimes-amusing positions and ways. It can be entertaining. It can be frustrating. YouTube for FIFA 12's collisions will show you some fine examples. But don't be so down, as the game itself is still lots of fun and glory with perseverance.

              Dribbling has also been tweaked, allowing your player to shield the ball for more control on where the ball goes.

              Making their way back is the Be A Pro and Be A Goalkeeper mode, custom chants and music for entrances and goals, a fully updated player roster and updated club kits. Online, we're treat to the same sort of stuff that made FIFA 11 so addictive, including FIFA Clubs, where your Pro can go online to join a club, which can work as a cohesive unit to climb leagues and battle against other clubs around the world. Problem number two arises here, in the form of Online Pass.

              Online Pass is EA's way of stopping people from buying pre-owned copies of the game. Economically, EA claim that the money someone may be spending on a pre-owned copy should go to them, rather than to the local shop you bought it from. And Online Pass is the ONLY way to use FIFA's online services. New copies of the game (RRP: £55, available for much less, so shop around!) have a code pre-packed, which allows you access, but if you did indeed buy a pre-owned copy, you'll be required to buy an Online Pass from the Xbox Live Marketplace or PlayStation Network, priced at 800 Microsoft Points (around £8).

              Also seen from FIFA 11 is Game Face, which allows you to upload GOOD pictures of your face to the server to download onto your Pro to put yourself in the game truer than ever before. This can take a few tries, but is satisfying once perfected. Downloading your Game Face to the Pro gives you 10XP, for which allow you to reach targets to level up. However, I've not actually seen the point of the level idea. The EA statistics also make a return, giving you up-to-the-second info on players passing, distance covered, completion rates, shots on goal, saves made and so on. You'll have seen these if you have watched Sky Sports football games over the past year.

              While on the subject of Sky Sports, Martin Tyler and Alan Smith (not Leeds United and Manchester United's Alan Smith) are the main commentators for the game, but with an added extra, EA have offered Clive Tyldesley and Andy Townsend as alternative commentary too, which is very good for the career mode, where the Premier League matches will be announced by the Sky duo of Tyler and Smith, and cup games by Tyldesley and Townsend. It's just a shame that the commentary is still amazingly repetitive and shows its age with Townsend stating "England are still in the lead thanks to Paul Robinson" when playing as Blackburn Rovers. But heck, I'll put up with that for the general idea of having both commentary teams on the game for that little extra realism.

              I keep saying it, but I believe that any football gamer will love this game IF they persevere. Don't let the first few games dictate what your brain will believe is the whole game. It takes time to get used to, but once you do, you'll fall back in love with the game.

              Buy it, but don't buy it for £55.

                Advantages

                Disadvantages

                The best and most realistic football game of all time!

                == FIFA 12: ULTIMATE EDITION ==
                FIFA 12 finally arrived after months of waiting. FIFA 12 is the best football game available and features more options than last year. The game was developed by EA Canada and published by Electronic Arts (EA Sports). FIFA 12 is the nineteenth game in the FIFA series and by far the best one so far. There are a few different versions of the game out there which includes this FIFA 12 Ultimate Edition. This Ultimate Edition only benefits gamers who play Ultimate Team mode in the game because it gives the gamer 4 gold packs every month for 6 months. Ultimate Team mode now comes on the disc and is 100% free to play but you do need Xbox Live and gold membership to play. FIFA 12 has severely been improved from last years FIFA 11 and now includes the new player impact engine. This basically helps the game look and feel more realistic with the way the players tackle, foul, run into each and instead of it looking fake it actually looks how it would in real time.

                Also new to this FIFA is the EA Sports Football Club. Pick your favourite team and every match you play in every game mode earns you XP. XP is then calculated into average XP earned per club per person and then your team is now put in a league. The good thing being that the leagues are real and you earn points for your Ea Sports Football Club daily. Fans around the world will be earning XP for their club to see if they can finish on top. Your club can also get relegated and promoted. It gives the lower clubs a better chance with the average amount of XP being counted and not the total amount.

                === GAMEPLAY ===
                FIFA 12 is the most realistic football game ever. For many years Pro Evolution has been pretty close with the FIFA games in terms of quality but now FIFA has pulled away and left Pro Evo for dead. Along with the player impact engine comes the new tactical defending to FIFA 12. Tactical defending is really good but many people cant do it. Its a new way to defend and is very life like with how they defend in real life. On the old FIFA you could just run up to their players and rob them of the ball with ease but now you must bide your time and tackle at the right moment. You have to jockey them sometimes so you can block a shot or cross plus if you time most of this wrong then chances are the opposition is going to score. FIFA 12 also features 30+ leagues and cups from real life such as the Barclays Premier League, French Ligue 1, German Bundesliga, Italian Serie A, Dutch Eredivisie, SPL, Spanish Liga BBVA better known as La Liga and there are many other leagues available to play.

                There are no end of clubs available in the game but along with the best clubs in the world there are also the worst but it definitely makes the FIFA game better with so many teams and leagues. Each team are given a rating overall. The ratings are out of five stars and also out of 100 for each ATT, MID and DEF. Along with the teams and leagues comes a whole lot of international teams. There are a lot missing though which includes the Czech Republic. FIFA 12 now features well over 12 different playable game modes which include the new and improved Career mode. Career mode now features just about everything that it should including a youth academy so you can find new talent and produce the worlds best players, it also features transfer deadline day and its almost as hectic as the real thing itself, players will now come to you if they are unhappy with how you run the club and how your treating them and there are many more features to this mode.

                Also new is the new FIFA 12 side scrolling menu which works really well because your virtual pro comes on screen every so often and it looks amazing. On the menu all of the game modes appear there and stand out really well and its simple to navigate. Kick-Off is just for exhibition/friendly matches and this mode is useful at times when you want your pro to get better overall. You can also play friendly matches here by using just your pro and the computer controls everyone else. Tournaments mode lets you play any tournaments that are available on the game. You can also create your own tournaments. Live Season is to play actual fixtures that have recently been played from your favourite team and try and change/beat the result. Ultimate Team mode hasn't been improved an awful lot but its still a fantastic mode to play. New players at their new squads, new tournaments coming in weekly and IF (In Form) players coming weekly as well plus the fact you get to create a team from scratch and call them what you want is a bonus but you have to be online. Xbox Live is better than previous FIFA games with a new head to head seasons in which you play so many online games and see how you rank overall. You can still play normal online matches as well. Virtual Pro mode lets you join a club and compete in many matches which includes leagues. This is the mode where you only control your one player and you play with 10 other online gamers.

                FIFA 12 features a new in game soundtrack but if I'm honest I wasn't thrilled with what is on offer. Some of the songs are good but only a select few and the majority of tracks just don't seem like football game songs. Accomplishments for your pro returns but there isn't much difference from the accomplishments on FIFA 11. Also on FIFA 12 is the creation center where you can customise and create your own leagues, teams and much more. You can also download the latest squads, edit current teams, import your own music into the game and choose your own arena options. EA Sports also signed a few contracts with certain premier league clubs such as Fulham, Man City, Aston Villa, Bolton and a few others. This enables fans of those clubs to download a sleeve for their FIFA game and on certain match days a FIFA 12 game will be accessible at these respected teams. One of the better new features is when playing online your friends records and other bits appear every so often. For example I love Fulham and always pick them and when I sold a Fulham favourite one of my friends who is also a Fulham fan questioned me on why I sold him. It also tells your friends the results of some of your games and other bits. FIFA 12 is by far the best and most realistic football game available.

                === GRAPHICS & SOUND EFFECTS ===
                The graphics to FIFA 12 have been brilliantly improved and the game now looks authentic. Every team on the game have got their own unique kits home & away and they all look exactly how they do in real life. Also most players look like they do because they have been face scanned by EA but the only downside is the scanned players are only the best players in the world such as Rooney, Kaka, Ronaldo, Messi and even Heskey (no idea why). Another slight disappointment is the lack of premier league stadiums such as Craven Cottage which is one of the oldest and better grounds, Loftus Road which has one of the noisiest set of fans even when losing plus no sign of Villa Park or White Hart Lane. The stadiums that are on the game are extremely well detailed and look absolutely fantastic. The graphics are very impressive and the best yet for any football game. There are a couple of niggles in the graphics with a few dodgy glitches but they only appear every so often and aren't major problems. Overall FIFA 12 is truly a beautiful game.

                The sound effects are also really good and definitely bring the game to life. Ever since the disgraceful Andy Gray was booted from the game, we all started to wonder whol would fill the boots of him. Firstly I have to say that the new commentators are brilliant. There are now two sets of commentators that commentate on your games and this is a brilliant idea. Martin Tyler and Alan Smith are one deadly duo who commentate together and the other pair are Clive Tyldesley and Andy Townsend who commentate on cup matches/tournament games. Clive and Andy are better in my opinion because Clive gets extremely excited and it makes the matches much more entertaining. The overall sound effects when playing matches is almost perfect. From passing the ball, tackling, shooting, saving and hitting the woodwork it all just sounds perfect. A slight disappointment is the crowd but EA admitted that crowd noise will be better in the next FIFA. Overall the sound effects are equally as impressive as the graphics.

                === DIFFICULTY & LONGEVITY ===
                FIFA 12 is much more of a challenge than any other previous FIFA or football game. FIFA 12 is realistic in terms of matches and difficulty. On the old FIFA I always played on legendary difficulty and still won with ease but now on pro difficulty I still lose the odd matches so hate to know how hard legendary is. By far the hardest part of the game is the defending and if you have no patience then your literally going to struggle. Also online gameplay could be much harder depending on what game mode your playing and who your playing against. Other than that everything else isn't too hard and the game is much more fun with a challenge.

                The length of the game is a simple one. It will definitely last you a minimum of one whole year until the next FIFA game is released but if I'm being honest it can last you a lot longer. I always find it hard to play an older FIFA after having a taste of the newer game but don't let that put you off a FIFA game because they are truly great. Career mode is great because you can do about ten seasons on it. Ultimate Team mode is the better mode for longevity and will last ages because you can always improve and new tournaments become available as you go along. Be A Pro mode is the mode that can also last a while and offers a lot of fun plus playing with friends is a huge benefit. Overall I feel the game is really good length wise.

                === ACHIEVEMENTS ===
                FIFA 12 features a total of 45 achievements and the achievements in this game are the best I have seen for a FIFA game. Most of the achievements are simple to get and require you to do things such as sign a player on deadline day, score 100 goals overall, sign a player better than anyone on your team, win a match online and a few more. These type of achievements are fairly simple but there are a few tricky achievements like winning your tenth FIFA Ultimate Team trophy, open 100 packs in Ultimate Team, spend 50 hours on the pitch and a few others. I really like the achievements to FIFA 12 though and that's mainly due to the fact they are challenging.

                === PROS ===
                *New player impact engine is fantastic and very authentic.
                *Over 12 playable game modes and most last a long time.
                *Support your club and help them to the top of the table in EA Sports Football Club.

                *Unlimited options in every game mode and the game is severely addictive.
                *Best FIFA yet as well as best ever football game!!
                *Superb graphics and sound effects make this FIFA better than real football!

                === CONS ===
                *Not a massive fan of the soundtrack this time and only a couple of songs suit me.
                *I have noticed a couple of glitches but nothing serious.
                *Takes time to get the hang of the new controls and defending system.
                *Still missing a few important leagues to some fans and also a few international teams missing.
                *It can become increasingly frustrating at times!

                === FINAL THOUGHT ===
                I have been waiting for FIFA 12 for months on end now and when it finally arrived and after about an hour of queuing at Gamestation and hours of playing the game I can finally say WOW. Best FIFA and football game by a country mile. What impresses me the most about the game is the authenticity of the game. I do feel some of the player rating are a little off and could seem disrespectful to some people. I do think the overall team ratings are perfect especially with the FACT that Barcelona are the best team in the world as well as the best team on FIFA. This years FIFA has a ton of new features and they all work perfectly especially the new XP EA Sprots Football Club option. Also FIFA 12 is definitely a candidate for game of the year!!

                I would seriously recommend FIFA 12 if you love anything football because it basically puts the icing nicely on the cake. If your a fan of Pro Evo then switch to FIFA because the way its going Pro Evo wont have a fan base. FIFA is the ultimate football game that offers more and features realism. If you love football then buy this and play football. there isn't a manual for the game either which is rare and its actually on the game itself which is brilliant. FIFA 12 has an age rating of 3+ and is suitable for anyone.

                The price of the game in my eyes is pretty much perfect. Whilst we all want games for cheap we cant exactly complain about how enjoyable they are after paying. I actually went to the midnight launch of FIFA 12 at my local Gamestation and I'm definitely glad I did because they gave me 400ms points for going to it. I was waiting one hour and wasn't best pleased but after getting home it was worth it. This Ultimate Edition is a little bit more expensive but to me its worth every penny. I had initially put down £5 to pre-order the game months ago so that was immediately knocked off the final price. It would of cost £45 but with my reward card it cost me about £30 which was fantastic. The normal version of the game is available for around the £38 on Amazon which includes postage. Other versions of the game are available but the prices vary.

                === Website ===
                Want more information on the game? visit the official EA Sports website. You can even import your face into the game like in my picture so your pro looks like you. It really does work as you can see and he looks awesome. Visit http://www.ea.com/uk/football/ today and find out more!

                FIFA 12 is the best football game available as well as the best sport game and it fully deserves a 10/10!
