      Very helpful

Footy fans need to play it!

I was a big fan of the older engine of FIFA, and World Cup 2006 has this engine. When EA Started tinkering, things started going wrong.

The game itself is beautiful. It shows atmosphere of the World Cup. The teams showcase some of the best talent in the world, and the ability to play as any team in any tournament you choose.

Fireworks, crowd ambience, even the commentary, they are all a breath of afresh air that come by once every couple of years... sometimes four! The franchise of FIFA is done on an annual basis. World Cup games come every 4 Years, however you will start seeing 'Road to World Cup' titles now, as EA tries to make more money from the Football lovers.

These, along with the Euro Games have an element of freshness about them, as opposed to the yearly league titles. And with this being an accompaniment to the World Cup, you expect the excitement of the Cup in a game. It delivers... in abundance, and is a brilliant game to play with friends.

This game, along with its engine, offers player likeness which has never been seen in a football game ever, or since, for that matter. You look at Del Piero, and you see Del Piero. Nowadays, Del Piero doesnt look true to Del Piero. The newer roster looks scary!

And then theres achievements! EASY 1000G's. Not many (5 I think) and the game is a bargain everywhere now.
