Football Manager 2006 (Xbox 360)

Released in April 2006 this was a much anticipated game for me. I'm a big fan of the management simulation games and this has to be one of the best ive played by far. It's pretty much exactly the same as all football management games except for the intense detail which the game goes into about statistics of players etc. I found that it was a much more entertaining game because of this and gets better as you play it. Transfers are very realistic, if a club doesnt like your offer, it wont take it and you may end up spending a few million more than you may have previously wanted, this also keeps you coming back time and time again. If you would rather be Jose than Beckham or Sir Alex rather than Rooney then Foor=tball Manager 2006 is the game for you. In this football strategy game you are the man in charge, whether you choose a sheepskin coat or the unshaven look, neither is an option for me, then you get to control and lead your team through a league season. This game is very addictive and time consuming as not only will you get involved in picking the team and deciding tactics but you also have to deal with contract negotiations, the press, financial issues and transfers as well as scouting for fresh talent.
