Advantages: Fantastic accurate depth in game tuning and painting. Great online community

Disadvantages: Can be hard at times, no longer has the best graphics compared to other racers

I purchased this game when it was first released, and I play it today, as much as I did the day it was released.

Forza is definetly a racing simulation, and does take patience to master at a top level, but saying that gamers of all skill levels will enjoy the challenging and deep gameplay.

Career mode - This game has one of the longest career modes that I have completed in a racing game, and it still remains fresh right until the end. Career consists of several championships and within these championships there will be several races to complete with certain rules and regulations.

for example early on in the career the player must use cars with certain PI (Performance Index) scores, basically refering to how good the car is, speed, handling, braking etc. So cars such as Mini Coopers will be seen racing round the tracks, while later on in career, you have a chose of over 300 cars with loads of upgrades to be put on them improving their performance even more.

This is where the best part of the game comes into play, the cars.

Each one can be tuned and upgraded in incredible detail, making for the opportunity of thousands of different tuning setups for different tracks, different kinds of racing, and even for drag and drifting!!!

As well as tuning cars, the car paint editor is the most detailed I have ever witnessed, hundreds upon hundreds of layers can be placed upon all the cars to create all manner of designs, only capped by your imagination. From Fantasy liveries to race liveries the opportunities are endless.

Which brings me to the multiplayer aspect of the game. For a game this old you would expect few gamers left, but that couldnt be farther than the truth, hundreds of gamers of all skills still play this game all the time.

There are Tournaments on offer all the time for everyone to enter, offering up set races if you can qualify, again for gamers with varying skill.

There is an Auction house where all gamers with xbox live can put up cars of their own, tuned, painted and upgraded and sell them to other gamers around the world. Which also means you can do the same, which brings me to my final and most important aspect, the community.

This website is the community behind this game, you will find gamers willing to help anyone out on there with any question they may have.
There are garages on the site, advertising fantastically tuned and painted cars which anyone can buy from the auction house with in-game credits so even those who cant tune and paint, can get their hands on the best there is to offer. Anyone who buys this game must go to this site as it brings a whole new depth of awesomeness to the game.

With the recent hush hush announcement of Forza Motorsport 3 in development, this will only mean more gamers coming back to this great game, so come along and join in the racing action!!!

Summary: I would recomend this game to any petrol-head out there and anybody with an interest in racing games
