Excellent gameplay, much better than the first GOW. (Gears of War 2 (Xbox 360))

Advantages: Much variety to the gameplay, enough content to keep you entertained for weeks.

Disadvantages: Game feels short

I have had Gears of war 2 since release date and although I am more of a casual gamer only playing for the odd hour here and there I am massively enjoying it! I had the original gears of war and got about half way though the game before becoming bored with it and never went back other than for a few multiplayer matches but have not found this happening with this one and am currently in act 4 of 5 playing on hardcore mode. This new instalment of gears of war has seemed to bring a lot more variety to the game play than the last one, for example one 'scene' is played exclusively in a tank when you control the tanks movement and firing. There are also excellent boss encounters, one of the best being inside a giant worm which you have to destroy from the inside. Overall this game is much more fun to play than the first and will defiantly keep me entertained to completion an beyond.

Summary: Overall an excellent game that I definally recommend buying whether you have played the first or not
