Advantages: Better AI Bot's better Graphics and alot quicker gameplay

Disadvantages: Matchmaking was annoying at first but did bring a fix in so all fine now

Ok I'm not going into a big synopsis of the Gears of War 2 story mainly because you should experience it and check the events in the story for yourself . Gears of War centers around Delta Squad and their struggle against the Locust Horde The setting for the game is a fictional planet named Sera. Gears of War 2 picks up six months after the events at the end of the first Gears of War. In Gears of War 2 the Locust have returned with a vengeance, and to top it off they can now sink entire cities. Along with all of this, Dom is searching for his wife, trying to find her before its too late. Humanity is on the brink of extinction, their last great stronghold is now in danger, only one option is left, take the fight to the Locust. Everything is at risk, and this is Humanity's last stand.

Multiplayer time. Honestly i have played this game for some months 5 to 10 hours a day, mainly because the shotgun in the game. Gears of War 2 fixes the issues with the shotgun but it can still be challenging . Compared to Gears of War 1 as the shotgun was like a rocket laucher. One of the greatest things in Gears of War 2 is the chainsaw duels, you and either an AI opponent or real person can engage in a duel and who ever taps B the fastest gets out alive. Also when you down an enemy you can pick them up and use them as a shield. Also there's a new game mode called Horde with up to 5 people. Horde is a new mode where you and some friends have to take on waves of Locust, each wave gets increasingly harder in rounds of 10 and if you can make it to round 50 you get an achievement.

Graphics wise, Gears of War 2 improves tenfold over the first game and at the same time raises the quality of graphics. Sound is incredible; with surround sound you can hear all the ambient noises such as footsteps which can sometimes give you an edge on harder difficulties. Controls remain the same as the first Gears, and if you're new they're pretty easy to pick up quickly. Defo need a HD TV and a Elite 360
