      Very helpful

If you want Achievement Points, go for it. If your a HM fan, get it on the cheap. Or STAY AWAY!!

Hannah Montana. Arguably the biggest franchise on the face of this planet right now. Consumed by Millions of children worldwide, it was only a matter of time before she penetrated the Console Gaming world with a title for the players to step into the shoes of Miley Cyrus for a while.

Shame, then, that this game only takes around 4 Hours to complete.

On the surface, its obvious that this is the game that accompanies the film. Whether the storyline is the same as the film is another matter, because I havent seen the film.

I decided to rent this one as a way to get some easy Achievement Points for my Gamerscore, and boy, did it work a treat.

The game is simple and very basic. Miley walks around various places, and interacts with peoples, objects etc. You play the role of Miss. Montana on tour, where she stops by where she grew up, and puts on a Charity Gig to save the towns marketplace. When in a Gig, this is the most challenging the game gets. With the control pad, you must hit time-orientated objectives, which are described to you in the Tutorial at the begining. Dancemoves, Hand Gestures, Guitar, Drum, Keyboard and Vocals are all done with the control pad, and must be in time with the beat - or so they say. Given the game is stupidly easy, you can hit the coloured dots by pressing whichever buttons on the pad is required, or moving the analogue sticks in the dancemove or hand gesture way displayed, around the exact beat, and still pass.

Graphically, the stage concerts arent too bad. Not perfect, not great, but for a Movie-Game, its to be expected. The music? In my eyes, bad, but it all depends on taste, and again, I was only playing this for the Achievement Points.

Off the stage, you do numerous things, mainly very girly, like chasing that Girly-crush character, Shopping with Coupons and tokens you win by putting on good shows and getting good scores at the Fair, which, by the way, has a few mini-games in there, including those Fairground favourites, Horse Racing, where you shoot water at objects with Bullseyes on them to make your Horse go fast, or there is the Frog Jump game, where you use a little machine to get your frogs onto lillys, or the classic Bottles game, where you throw what look like Juggling Balls at bottles and try to make all of them fall.

I actually found the mini-games to be a lot more interesting than the actual game.

With the typical characteristics of Hannah Montana's Voice, her father, Bobby Ray (Who Im sure was called Billy Ray) and her older brother, Gran and others, this seems to be based around a real life family of Miley's, which, I guess, would be a nice little payoff for them.

It sees Disney tried a little open-world style to this, which did work alright, but is directed towards the children, as there is only one way to go throughout, however you arent limited to going to the places it tells you to. You can go elsewhere. The camera angles are annoying, and invisible walls are everywhere, meaning if you stick to a fence or curtain, move away from it, and go through the opening.

Miley doesnt run, also, which is frustrating. Of course, being a Lady this is understandable, but with the game taking 4 Hours to complete, I guess if Disney had made her run, the game would take half of that.

All in all, not a good game at all, really. Very, very short, annoying and poorly thought out. Graphically alright. And character Movements are smooth. Thats about all I can compliment this game with.

Just a word of warning to those of you rushing to the stores to buy this for easy Achievement Points: for 50G, you will need FOUR control pads to have a Horse Race at the Fairground. And I can tell you, not many people have four in a house, so borrow some from a mate for five minutes.
