I recently purchased Nat Geo TV for the Xbox 360 because it was dirt cheap, and now I know why. The game itself is more like an interactive dvd. Most of the actions in the game require you to pick one of two options, by either holding up your right or left hand. Yeah, that's a blast. There are mini-games built into the episode that can be considered fun, but some of the times they are frustrating and kind of hard to complete.
There are 2 seasons in this show, but the discs only have season 1. Season 1 contains 8 episodes, highlighting 8 different animals. Each episode has the same flow to it. You can take snapshots when it tells you, spot sidetracks, and play games. The better you do at each of the three areas, the more stars you get. The whole goal is to get all the stars throughout the episode.
Honestly, this game is meant for kids. The quality of the game is great. The movies are very high quality, and you do learn a lot throughout the game.
Achievements are pretty easy in this game, so if you're playing for achievement points, this isn't a bad one to try. You can get around 650 without even working too hard through the game, and with a little more effort, you can get the full 1000.
