Great for getting everyone up off the sofa

We got a new Xbox and Kinnect for Christmas this year and as a surprise I brought some extra games to go with. One of them being Kinect Sports.

Kinect sports is basically a collection of different sports games. There's a choice of boxing, Track and field, football, table tennis, beach volleyball and bowling. So there really is something for everyone, whether you want something less active such as bowling or something to get your pulse going like track and field.

I liked the look of this game because we wanted everyone to be a bit mroe active, rather than sitting around playing on the xbox. This is great for that problem because each of the sports at the very least requires players to stand up. The bowling and table tennis are low impact so if you're not in the mood for running around you can still be active but also quite relaxed (especially after christmas dinner!). The boxing and track and field are very active and really do get your heart racing.

what I really do like about this game is that you can play on your own, against the computer or against each other with up to 4 players. You can also play online if you have xbox live. You will need the Kinect for this game, but it does tell you this on the case.

This game is rated as a 12 because of the voilence, which I assume is the boxing but I would happily let much younger children play this as boxing is a sport after all!
