King kong has had many movie adaptations and this game has been released to correspond with its big screen counterpart. The game closely follows the movie adaptation with characters resembling those of the movie. The graphics are not amazing but some scenes do tend to suprise you.

The game mostly puts you in the shoes of Jack (Adrien Brody in the film) though few levels have you playing as the mighty kong as well. Jacks bit often involves moving throughly densley populated island dodging natives and dinosaurs alike. You will have gun though ammunition is very sparse and have to rely on spears and bones. This section is a lot more difficult and quickly gets tiresome.

Just as you are about to call it quits with Jacks gameplay you play as king kong taking on V-Rexs and other dinosaurs as well as the natives. The gameplay here totally shines as does the visuals of King Kong beating up dinosaurs to pulp.

The music and voice acting is of average and some effort should have been given into the achievements.

This game is mostly quite dull though has some shining moments which are nice to have a look at. Achievement fanatics will find this an easy 1000. Worth a play if your a fan of the mighty kong
