The time has come for me to get all giddy at the thought of playing yet another Tomb Raider game. My boyfriend thinks I'm weird that I get excited over a game that contains a female heroine, but the truth is, I have loved the Tomb Raider games since it was first released many years ago. ABIT OF HISTORY ON TOMB RAIDER (For those of you unfamiliar) ------ The very first release of Tomb Raider was back in 1996 where we see the fictional British character, Lara Croft, on a hunt for artifacts and other historic items in places such as Egypt and Peru. Six of the Tomb Raider games were developed by 'Core Design', but the last two Tomb Raider games ... Read the complete review

Tomb Raider Anniversary is an action platform game for the Xbox 360 games console. In this game you control the heroine Lara Croft, this is a remake of the original that came out years ago. It has been completely reworked to make it more accessible and more fun. The Platform gameplay has been totally reworked, it is much easier and less frustrating two make Lara do what you want, jumping around and making impossible leaps is still a lot of fun. Being a tomb raider game it has lots of combat, unfortunately the combat is not really that fun as you just hold down the trigger and jump around to defeat the games enemys which usually are wild ... The Tomb Raider series is a personal favourite. The story line is captivating with exciting cut scenes throughout the game to just about keep your attention, pushing you to play the next chapter each time. The reasonable range of variety within the levels is enough to ensure you see the game through to the end. However the game presents a few problems in the form of technical glitches, charecter distortions and occasionally freezing completley making it unplayable at times. I found myself saving the game past every available checkpoint to ensure my progress was safe in the event of a glitch. The game was also quite repetative at times causing me to loose interest ... I wont lie and pretend I am a big fan of computer games but when my boyfriend brought this home I was actually quite excited! We actually ended up fighting over the controller! This game is great, it's fun, the graphics are great snd theres always a suprise around the corner. You also have to think quite abit in it. For some strange reason I had a lot of problems making Lara jump, I don't know why but no one else did so that is obviously me just being a complete girl! The practise game is really good at the start, I did that a few times just to get myself use to it. I would have included more music within the game as sometimes it's a bit spooky when you can just hear ... Read the complete review
