Ever fancied a bit of Zombie bashing? Ever watched a Zombie film and wondered how hard it is to survive in a ruined post apocalyptic world? Left 4 Dead 2 will throw you into a zombie-filled world full of those hungry flesh eating monsters leaving you to find weapons to fight for survival and also find some sort of safe haven in this new terror filled world. The original Left 4 Dead was a big success however there was some room for improvement, and when Left 4 Dead 2 was quickly announced, people feared a terrible rush job with the new game however they were completely wrong and Left 4 Dead 2 is bigger and better. This new game is set in the Deep South of ... Read the complete review

Forget Modern Warfare 2 - this is the sequel I was *really* waiting for. Valve has controversially released the next instalment of its popular zombie-massacre hit Left 4 Dead only about a year after the original. This infuriated some fans, who felt a new game couldn't possibly contain enough new stuff to make it worth shelling out for, and that any new concepts and missions should have been offered as downloadable content for L4D1. The beauty of L4D1 is its simplicity. I get very irritated with first-person-shooters where you have to spend time figuring out where to go next (I never really got on with Half-Life 2, Valve's other big hit, for that ... Left 4 Dead 2 Despite how critically well recieved the first game was, Left 4 Dead 2 has been recieveing its fair bit of controversy. In Australia, it has been banned because of its 'extreme violence' and chopped down to fit the country's rating system, in the UK it's boxart had to be changed because they were offended that it looked like the zombie was sticking it's two fingers up at us, and it's even recieved controversy with fans who believe that L4D2 should be released as a DLC pack rather than a full new game. But it's finally in stores, does it overcome its critisism and offer a great game? L4D2's core is fundamentally the same as the first ... Read the complete review

Chainsaws, shotguns and a whole bunch of zombies, these are all things you can look forward to when entering the world of Left 4 Dead 2 or L4D2 as it is more commonly known. If we were to compare the overall structure of Left 4 Dead and Left 4 Dead 2 we would see a lot of similarities but then we would see a lot of differences. To get ahead in Left 4 Dead 2 there is one basic element that every person needs and that is good teamwork. Teamwork The Left 4 Dead series is unlike any other game out there. In other popular games such as Counter Strike or Call of Duty you can easily run off and do your own thing. You don't need to worry about what your ... Read the complete review

Left 4 Dead 2 is a first-person shooter in the style of the Medal Of Honour series but instead of fighting enemy troops you are fighting infected hoardes who have fallen prey to a 28-Days-Later inspired virus. Little is known about how the virus spread but from graffiti messages scrawled on walls, it appears as though there has been a goverment conspiracy to keep things quiet and blame everything, in echoes of the Stephen King novel The Stand, on a new strain of flu! Unfortunately it has become imposible to keep things quiet any longer and now people are abandoning the cities in their masses! You play one of four survivors left behind and trying to reach ...
