On field play and graphics are a slight upgrade over 2012. However, the missing, incomplete, or broken off-field features actually leave 2013 much less playable than 2012. Want to edit a player? You can change him from LE to RE, change equipment and number, and that's it. Want to have one of the legendary players on your roster? Too bad. After starting playing the madden series 2 years ago i have felt there have only been little improvements until now. This is the start of how all sports games will end up like new modes like connected careers gives you and your friends a chance to play online on the same season either as a player or a coatch this in my eyes would be an amazing feauture if you have the people and all of you have the same time off to play your matches.
