Mass Effect: Bring Down The Sky (Xbox 360)

This rating covers this expansion only, that is 'Bring Down The Sky.' However a little look at Mass Effect initially. Mass Effect is a brilliant in depth but easy to pick up play RPG. It isn't too colossal a world but enough that you can lose yourself in your character, the decisions you make to effect your story, skill and stat upgrades, weapon and armour upgrades etc etc. Plenty to do. Considering the scope and reception of Mass Effect, i would have thought that DLC would have come out alot faster, better and just more of it. Mass Effect is an action RPG with real time combat with a large storyline and Bioware has (yet again) successfuly fleshed out a new believable universe from scratch although the races shown are limited the ones shown have history and culture coming out of their hearing errr apperatus and one race written about but not shown or really mentioned in convorsation is Batarians, a species renowned for their brutality and quick to anger temperment, this species and their attitude is the main subject of Bring Down the ...  Read the complete review

Mass Effect: Bring Down The Sky is a BRILLIANT piece of additional downloadable content for Mass Effect. If you have played the main game, you will know that the game is pretty much the Eden Prime "training" mission, followed by the Citadel missions, then 3 main plot pieces, a final plot piece, the citadel again, and then the final mission. This mission does not need to be completed in order to play the game, it is basically a filler mission, and adds about 3 to 6 hours of game play, depending on your level and player class. Mass Effect Bring Down The Sky is an expansion to the role playing game for the Microsoft Xbox 360 games console. In this expansion you are given a New Mission, you must stop an asteroid that is going to collide with the planet and kill lots of people. Sadly there is only this one mission to do, and it is hardly any different from the many side missions available on the game disk. This game is fantastic and a true must for any action/rpg game. Featuring state of the art HD graphics on the xbox 360. This game has multiple endings and very deep story lines, ranging from ship politics to falling in love, i hve never seen a game like this before and i have been an avid gamer for over 15 years.
