Well what can I say... My favourite game for definite its just one of the games where once you get into it you cant get out of it, its one of the most addicting games I've ever played, I like the way you can just fly around the planet where ever you want to, I like the way you can just land anywhere and shoot at something, mass effect, so I have one word for this game and that is excellent. Basically... Your mans name is (Name) Shepard, you have done something good in the war well I chose hero (risks his/her own life to save others) and you have been called up to an assignment on a planet called Eden Prime where some people have been ambushed so you ... When it comes to Xbox 360 games with a Science Fiction twist, you'd be forgiven for thinking things start and end with Halo 3 and the Gears of War games. However, while both of those series are well deserving of the majority of the attention foisted upon them, the more discerning gamer would probably name Mass Effect as every bit as big a release. The reasoning behind this would be the game's developers Bioware. While not their first game, the software house shot to fame with Star Wars - Knights of the Old Republic (known to those gamer types who like abbreviations, and me for the sake of my keyboard as KOTOR) for the original Xbox. KOTOR made gamers stand up ... Read the complete review

RPGs are a little sparse on the 360. While there's the grand Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion and the beautiful Eternal Sonata, the rest of the results haven't been so stellar. Blue Dragon was decent, but it lacked enough evolution to make it truly outstanding. Two Worlds is meant to be mediocre, as is Enchanted Arms, and Phantasy Star: Universe looks dated from what I've seen. There are some hits in the works like The Last Remnant, Fallout 3, Lost Odyssey and Fable 2, but those won't be coming for a while. So, until we get those hits, BioWare is tempting us with Mass Effect. This is the only futuristic role playing game on the 360, and it's the only 360 game from developer ... Read the complete review

Mass Effect is an action sci-fi RPG game for the xbox 360. It was released in November 2007, developed by Bioware, and it quickly became on of the best games I have ever played. I am a huge fan of RPG's and I was eager to play this, it's certainly a great game. The game takes place in 2183, and you play the role of the elite soldier Commander Shepard. One of the great things about this game is you can create the appearance of your character at the start, and you can be female rather than male (despite the male on the front of the game's box!) This was a great feature, and it's nice to not have us female's forgotten by having to play as the typical male ... Read the complete review

Released in November 2007 by BioWare, Mass Effect is an RPG game set in the future when Humanity has encountered several alien civilisations after discovering ancient ruins on Mars that have unlocked knowledge of highly advanced interstellar transportation called Mass Effect Relays. As a result, the Human Systems Alliance have joined what is a collection of species in "Citadel space", which is the area of the galaxy surrounding a vast unbelievably huge space station known as the Citadel, which is presumed to have been built by the now long extinct species called the Protheans. The player takes control of an elite human soldier called Commander Shepard (though ... Read the complete review
