Mercenaries 2: World in Flames (Xbox 360)

Being new to the mercenaries series I probably missed out on some story details that I would of known if I'd played the first one, but still EA should of accounted for the thousands of people who hadn't played the first and were going to by the game. Mercenaries 2 has a fairly simple plot in which a dictator takes over venezuela with your help and then betrays you. From then on you are out for revenge by any means necessary, (namely shooting, punching and airstriking everything you see). To be honest there isnt really much story past the opening few cut scenes but this game isnt really about the story its about blowing everything up. There are so many 'sandbox' open world type games at the moment that it's really quite hard to keep track of them all. The trend started off really with the original Grand Theft Auto, and has grown ridiculously to encompass futuristic games, modern military sims, fantasy RPGs, even platformers.... When it first came out a few years ago the first Mercenaries was the bees knees. A well crafted open world military shooter with vehicles, lots of big guns and even more big explosions.
