A great game for people who like playing Monopoly.

If you like playing monopoly but hate the time it takes to set up and count out money then this is definately the game for you!

Monopoly streets allows you to play a full game of monopoly on your games console. I know there have been other versions of Monopoly released on various platforms but the really uniqueness of this one is that it is in 3d. The houses and hotels that you build turn into actual houses and hotels!

The game play is very similar to classic Monopoly (although you can change the rules or style of play if you wish). There is a maximum of four players, who can be made up of real people or computer players. The players take it in turns to build up their own properties and eventually own everything! (That's the idea, however I am not that successful at it!)

The game begins by giving you a few choices around set up. You can choose to play the classic version of Monopoly or you can change the rules. There is also an option for a quick game. You then get to choose the board on which you play. When you first start playing there are only a few boards available to you (including the classic board and a 3d streets version) however as you play you will collect points which can then be used to unlock other boards to play on. The final choice you make is your piece that you will play with. Throughout the game the player can play with their avatar or with another character and the character you choose to play with will interact with the piece you have chosen.

On your first play through it is definattely worth taking your time and looking around at the environment as there is lots to see. You may well see some of your xbox freinds avatars walking down the street.

All in all this is a great game for people who enjoy playing Monopoly with the added bonus of being in 3d!

Great game for an individual or for playing with friends, easy to use.

Well what can I say, this game is so much fun, you could play it for hours. Unlike playing the board game it is a lot less stressful and you don't have to take the time on sorting all the money out all the time, its all done for you.

There are a few different board you can play on, there is just the classic board, then you have the streets board (a 3d version of the board), a cheese board, a sweetie board, cities board(with places such as barcelona and new york). Some of these boards are looked but as you build up your monopoly money you can purchase them, you can also purchase other games pieces such as the iron.

You can play the game both offline and online with other players around the world or your xbox friends. There are different games you can play. There is the official monopoly rules, short game rules, other rules include having three dice, or you can collect any money from the community chests or chance from the free parking square on the board.

As I quickly mentioned before the game calculates all your money for you, for each player it shows you how much money they have and the properties they own, you can also look around the board to check if players have built any house or hotels. If you land on a property you must either buy it or put it up for auction there is no option to pass it. There is an option in the game how to trade with other players, you can trade any property and money or even get out of jail free cards. If you trade with another player they can accept, reject or counter offer you.

I would definately recommend this game, its great to play yourself or with friends.
