Advantages: Beautiful graphics, good multiplayer modes, includes a story for single player.

Disadvantages: Terrible framerate which nearly makes the game unplayable.

Need for Speed: Undercover is the latest title in the famous high adrenaline racing series. The Need for Speed franchise has received negative reviews lately and needed a game to revive the career and give it a new life. Unfortunately, Undercover wasn't the answer...

Need for Speed: Undercover is the first real Need For Speed game to include a story, and this is where you are secretly working for the Police and must go Undercover street racing and infiltrate other racing groups to gain information about any drug dealings or criminal events going to happen. The story is told to you by real life actors which is a nice touch, but unfortunately these clever cut-scenes didn't appear often enough to keep the story interesting.

The game includes beautiful graphics and a big open world, along with some brilliant cars to choose from such as the Bugatti Veyron and the Audi R8. The game also includes a good variety of tracks and events which stops the game from getting boring. However, and a huge disadvantage of the game; a terrible framerate. This means that when you are going fast in a race, the screen will often pause, making the game nearly unplayable. This is a huge shame and totally ruins the game.

Summary: NFS Undercover had huge potential but can't be injured due to a stuttering framerate.
