It's testament to how outrageously brilliant it's prequel was that I can genuinely say Ninja Gaiden 2 is one of only 2 games released in the last 5 years I've actually kept track of its development and awaited eagerly (the other being the upcoming Streetfighter IV) yet I also went into it with mixed feelings, given that days after it's US release knowledge crept out that the head of the subsidiary of Tecmo behind the game, Team Ninja, had parted ways with the company unceremoniously. First of all I want to say sorry if I'll harm any Ninja Gaiden fans, I have played this game for some time, and I regret that I've payed 40 quid for it in this review I will be honest about this game. This game is Hack'n'Slash type of game, and there is lot's of battles in which you need to fight with all kind of different enemies. This is one of the most action-packed games I have ever had the privelage of playing. This series is unlike any other I have played, it requires quick thinking and, more importantly, quick fingers. Ninja Gaiden 2 is, essentially, a fighting game. You make use of combo moves to cut through the numerous enemies you face, their onslaught constant and always extremely quick. Everything else aside, there is one distinguishing feature of this game - the sheer gore. The first ninja gaiden released for the original Xbox was ahead of its time in action gameplay. Its been over four years but finally the sequel is here. You play as a hyabusa ninja battling against huge bosses with a large choice of weapons to-do so. Fans of the series will be glad to here that the original melee combat system which made the first game a joy, hasn't been changed. Ninja Gaiden 2 is an action game for the Microsoft Xbox 360 games console. In this game you resume your role as ninja Ryu, the story is pretty mindless and what it boils down to is you mass slaughter a lot of creatures. The gameplay is pretty challenging but it has been turned down from previous games, your health will now regenerate and they are much more save points throughout the levels.
