... You fight enimies along the way and the fights are quite fun and simple controls makes this an easy game to pick up and play for the little ones. The younger kids will like this game, especially fans of the movies. The game also includes boss fights which do get repetative but they are still differant to the rest of the fights in the game which is good. Overall the graphics are very crisp clear but they do not have the detail in the back drops as you have come to expect from games now. There are lots of other thi...more

Premium Review Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End (Xbox 360): Yo ho.. yo ho... a pirates game for me (256 words)

Everyone must have heard about Pirates of the Caribbean and the legendary captain Jack Sparrow. The movies were highly successful and disney decided to cash in on the success with game adaptations. The result is an average game but slighlty better compared to some of the aweful game adaptations from other movies and tv shows. The plot has you voyage the seven seas and follows the 2nd and 3rd films which is good as you have more source material. You play as Jack, Will and elizabeth depending on the levels although you do occasionally play as other character. Its quite nice to see this vareity although they behave quite same and have similar moves. The action ...  Read the complete review

This game was suprisingly fun as an action adventure. You can play as Jack, Will and Elizebeth (if that's her name). You generally all ahve the same kinda of attacks with your sword but the game is not half bad. You scurry across the story of the game making your way through some environments which you think could look better but they play well. You fight enimies along the way and the fights are quite fun and simple controls makes this an easy game to pick up and play for the little ones. Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End is a relaxing game to play, not so hard to play nor is it mind puzzling compared to other games. If you loved the movies you should like this, although it's an easy game to complete. I personally enjoyed playing this game but I rented it out, and I managed tocomplete everything in the game within 2 days so I personally wouldn't advise buying this because it is slightly a waste of money, unless you like to collect or want to. If it's just to experiance the fun of it and to gain achievements for it I advise renting this game, it's extremely easy to complete. For anyone of you people out there who loves getting achievements and ...  Read the complete review

From the great trilogy comes great game. Whilsty most gamers feel regrretful of film-tie in games this one shouldn't disappoint. The storyline sticks mostly true to the film with gamers getting to play as Jack Sparrow and many other pirates of the movie. Female gamers won't be disappointed as they will get to play as the heroine Elizabeth Swan. The graphics are relatively good and the mannerisms of characters such as Jack Sparrow the swaggering drunk have been created well with an innovative fight scheme. Due to being aimed at children though having a 16+ rating the game is enjoyable for many and offers an easy 1000 gamerscore if a guide is used as there are many ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End (Xbox 360): It is what it is . . . (215 words)

Ok so fair enough this isn't a game you should rush out to buy, as if you've seen the film you know the score. But having said that it is still a half decent game. If you want something simple to play that you don't really need to think to much about then this is ideal. The graphics are good and the plot is ok due to the film. and I think especially with it being on the 360, you obviously get the achievements to go for which in itself created some mini games i.e. collect skulls, scrolls, wigs?!? etc. I personally found it easy to get sucked into this as I am a fan of the films. I thought that it was great how the makers managed to show off the mannerisms of johnny depps ...  Read the complete review
