Advantages: Graphics and fun gameplay

Disadvantages: Better racing sims on the market

When the original Xbox was released I played the first PGR and I have been hooked on the series ever since. The fourth instalment in the series does not disappoint. Races tracks from all over the world ranging from London to Japan appear in the games and look fantastic. There is also now the possibility to choose between racing a car or a bike, which adds a new dimension to the gameplay. In what I suppose would be seem as the career mode in most racing titles the player must complete challenges that range from simply winning a race to gaining a particular number of kudos which is the point system used with the game. Kudos are obtained by driving stylishly, for example drifting around corners, driving quickly or performing a wheelie whilst on a bike. To conclude I would say this is a decent game, if a little arcadey but still worth the price it can now be bought at.

Summary: Good game but not too much is new here
