Advantages: Great physics and easy to play

Disadvantages: not a simulation, bit unrealistic handling

I first played this game a couple of months ago and wasn't sure about whether or not I liked it. Having been used to a simulation game (forza 2), I found the handling rather poor and unrealistic.

However, the crash scenes and physics are mind blowing!

You can hours of fun alone just watching replays and creating absolute havoc, driving the wrong way and seeing how many times you can flip your car and how many wheels you can lose. As for the actual handling, it didn't impress me; you can hammer it round a bend with nothing more than a bit of smoke and a small slide. If you want realistic simulations look elsewhere, if you want pretty graphics and basic handling skills, this is the game for you.

Tip, tap the accelerator so it's revving at about 6k RPM on the starting grid, you'll get a better start

Summary: Good game overall, worth downloading the demo first though
