Advantages: Great gameplay and fantastic interaction with all gaming aspects

Racedriver GRID is the best driving game available on Xbox360. It offers all aspects of driving simulation and as such will appeal to all race gamers. The main game splits into 3 different regions, with USA, Europe and Japan as options. There is an Amateur and a Pro level for each with 6 tournaments in each level. Simply put, there are 12 trophies to win for each region. Once this has been completed, the third and final level, Global opens up for a real challenge. American races tend to be more Muscle car based, Europe has a more coupe base, with Japan offering one-on-one mountain races and Drift battles. There is overlap with Drifting in Europe and Formula 3 races in all regions.

The only mild downside to this game is that it can come across quite arcade like. However for me this isnt a negative but im aware of people that hold this against the game.

The aspect of this game i appreciated the most was the sponsorship and co-driver functions. As you win more, and your team becomes more well-known, you will gain more lucrative sponsorship deals. This helps to generate funds to purchase cars for races. The team-mate is fantastic fun, apart from when they run you off the road. There are many different tasks to complete throughout the game and will keep you addicted for a long time.

As a nice bonus, the online gaming is great fun and runs smoothly. A definate purchase for any gaming fan.
