One of my best racers (Race Driver Grid (Xbox 360))

Advantages: Variety of races, graphics, controls

Disadvantages: Online not so great

This is one of my favourite racing games. It is the perfect balance between sim (such as Forza 2) and arcade (NFS series) and the controls feel extremely smooth. This is the main reason I liked the game so much. You can't take a corner at 100mph but at the same time, you don't have to crawl to a stop.

There are many cars in the game, around 40-50, and these can be bought when you earn money in the campaign. You have to try and earn trophies in different regions of the world by racing and hopefully winning. After a certain number of events, you have the option to race in a 24 hour endurance race which is pretty fun but can get tiresome. They are only about 15 mintues though.

A nice addition is that you can re-try corners if you crash by rewinding. The harder the difficulty, the less amount of times you do this, but the more money and rep you get,

It is not just racing, there are also drift races and a variety of racing classes. The in car view in this game is brilliant and I found myself using this a lot, which I don't normally do. The graphics are impressive thoughout as well.

Definitely recommend picking this up for any racer fan.
