Ok so I played guitar hero and loved that game....but one of my first thoughts was why stop there, I wonder if they would expand the play aong (much more simplified instrument) concept to drums, and keyboard and throw in sing star as well.

well they did, about 18 mths later the two band frantchises, rock band and guitar hero world tour, came out. Minus the keyboard (which if they made into one of those 80`s style over the shoulder jobs wouldve been fun).

This is a great party game to play with the mates when theyre over, the problem with guitar hero was that unless everyone who watched it in the room played the game they wernt much interested and so at parties that game can seem antisocial...but with this its kindve solved, especially with the karaoke element.

Ok same games wise the songs are pretty good better on average than guitar hero, the reaper, we dont get fooled again, enter sandman and learning to fly....pretty good mix. you get unlockable and downloadable content but nothing special.

the graphics arnt as good as guitar hero and theyre arnt as many little cool audiance bits like you se on GH. The guitar plays the same, the drums are hard to master and they feel wierd as theyre is little resisitance on the hit. The mike is similar to sing star.

again another problem is that even if 3 of you are very good at your chosen instrument, if someone cant sing or play the drums well, the whole band wil suffer as the song is stopped due to low reviews. which is frustrating is you have someone who cant master the drums but insisits on playing !!
