Advantages: Very funny when playing with friends, affordable fun

Disadvantages: When played a lot, you learn the answers which makes it not fun when playing with others

I think the appeal of this game is that it can be played alone against the computer, with a friend, or with the whole family.

There aren't many family-friendly Xbox 360 games as your stereotypical 360 gamer is a nerdy teenage boy shooting aliens! After the attraction of the Wii however, Xbox seem to have taken a bit of a turn.

This game came out quite a few years ago, though I only purchased it recently.

Me and my boyfriend played it together to begin with. We're both quite competitive and avid film fans, so found this very fun. Basically, you get asked questions about films, and, using the included handheld buzzers, click your answer and hope you've beat everyone else! (You can also use the Xbox controller if you don't want to pay for the buzzers but it's more different to use).

There's lots of different categories and types of questions which add a lot of variation to the game.

I think one of the problems with the game is that if you play it a lot, as much as me and my boyfriend did, then you eventually start learning the answers to the questions so it becomes more of a 'who can click the button first' scenario, and obviously this makes it very silly when you play with other people who've never played before, when you already know ALL the answers. A couple of times we had our friends and family over to play the game, and I think if we hadn't played it so much it would have been very fun, however because we knew a lot of the answers even if we didn't know the film, we easily beat everyone else, which is a shame as it kind of took the fun out of it.

I did find though that the game got updated frequently, and after not playing for 2 weeks, and then having a go again, the questions were different, which I was very surprised about, so that is a bonus and obviously make it better than the board game as you can't refresh the questions on that!

Overall, it's a very fun game but I recommend it's only really brought out at parties or family events, rather than as a daily thing like what me and my boyfriend did!

Summary: Better when played every now and again rather than as a daily thing
