Splinter cell four or double agent is a great stealth action game for the Xbox 360 console.
This is the first splinter cell game for the next generation of games consoles.
You reprise your role as agent Sam Fisher, in this game as its name suggests you infiltrate an enemy organisation called the JBA and act as a double agent. The story is interesting and will keep you playing.
The gameplay is great, the difficulty has-been turned down a lot, you can run and gun your way through the levels. It is however more fun to go through using your gadgets and silenced weapons to stealthily take out the enemys.
There is also a multiplayer mode which is called spy vs. Mercenaries, this is a stripped down version of version included with chaos theory the previous game though it has much improved graphics.
This is a great game and is priced very well at about £10.00.
Splinter Cell Double agent, Takes you into the role of terrorist and covert operative in what is my opinion a challenging game. The choices you makes effect where you go into the game. You are Sam fisher sent to infiltrate a terrorist group and destroy it.
The game is challenging and realistic your outcome effects game play, I killed too many terrorists and blew my cover and game over. In this latest version of splinter cell your game has a trust system on screen that shows good / evil, you complete a mission and it rises for the relevant side but fall for the other. The game is still stealthy with great game play you limitation is the game is sparse supply of ammo for your weapons relying on your stealth approach and a close kill.
The game is a 3D style game play with the Sam represented visually smooth and lifelike. I love this type of game the levels are varied and at times tense to the game play. Escaping from a prison for example with very few weapons is tricky. The in game AI is responsive and reacts promptly to your actions make a noise they can hear and they will come look for the noise and most of the time finds you!
Game play varied
Good Graphics if a little outdated for what the 360 can now do
Ability to be good / bad and actions you choose decide this
Cant see where they will take splinter cell next.
The game is prices at £ 35 - 40 from most games retailers and is one to keep for a challenge.
