great games (The Darkness (Xbox 360))

Advantages: prices Disadvantages: unfortunately did not get the advertising it deserved
Just got this a few days ago, saw it had good reviews and a great price so I couldn't resist. I'm so glad I didn't resist! Really quality game with dark, gritty graphics (in a good way) that really gets you involved in the game.Well worth the price-tag.And the gore is second to none. The gameplay is excellent and original, and will quickly have you hooked. Your darkness powers gradually increase through the game, and have a good learning curve. Strangely, I felt the game almost gets easier with more powers. For example, its easier to knock out lights with the demon arm than having to shoot them out with bullets. And as for the black hole - great fun, but it is hard to stop using it all the time (and gain some of the other achievements).Based on the comic book "The Darkness", created by Top Cow. Summary: great game and value for money |
