Waiting a good graphic- horror game for the Xbox 360, The Darkness caught my eye and I gave it a go.

You play th character of Jackie, first at his birthday party. At the age of 21, though Jackie discovers his is a superhuman, with powers over the forces of evil. This is where the game begins its physics blasphemy. Jackie surpasses thoughts of good will for his powers and decides to take to the streets

Your powers include calling up Beelzebub, creating black holes or, if you are feeling daring, kicking your opponent in the face. The option for classic weaponry works well because without the guns and combat, this game would rely entirely on the implausible storyline of an evil superhuman.
The setting is very effective, although it is an urban environment, it more resembles Victorian London in it aura of deceit and treachery. It leaves the player on edge the whole time, a great effect, and the main appeal of the game.

The multiplayer live content is not very varied, mainly due to the lack of characters and scenarios given.
Overall, this game is a great shocking thriller with a reasonable good storyline.
