Advantages: Enormous

Disadvantages: Enormous

I have resisted to review this game as it's so epic-ly enormous it'd rather like be trying to review War and Peace. Plus I doubt my ramblings would do the game justice. HOWEVER:

Never been much of a fan of first-person RPGs. I gave Oblivion a go, spent about 5 minutes trying to kill and rat and then gave up. Morrowind is Skyrim's other sister game which I haven't tried.

Skyrim I tried on the recommendation of everyone in the world. People who I didn't have down as being gamers as such were talking about this game. I tried it and loved it. At first though it is rather over-whelming simply because of the sheer amount of missions there are and how much land is given to you to explore. I was worried that because of this I wasn't going to feel a sense of achievement throughout the game. Yet you do and you keep going. Plus when you're not playing Skyrim you are definately thinking about playing Skyrim and talking about it with your friends which then turns into a bug-finding competiton. The further into the game you go the more buggy it gets with people standing waist-deep in the floor and horses flying around. I even found a chest you could buy from a merchant called "DO NOT DELETE".

Beware: I spent the first few weeks of my life with this game randomly finding caves and executing all the enemies within. Do not do this though as you'll only get a mission where you have to do just that to the same cave you just went and executed all the enemies have magically come back to life and you have to then do it all over again - despite the little reminder on the map which says "cleared".

I'm currently at level 42 and have decided I'm going to try and get to level 50 and then I'm going to create a new game with a new character as I'm told that by doing this you get a completely different gaming experience which excites me and will update this review when I do so.

I have spent more time on this game than any other and I have been playing games since I've been able to hold a joystick in my little hands. In a nut-shell this game is awesome.

Summary: Got a spare few years to play this game?
