Advantages: Good fun game, easy to pick and play

Disadvantages: Extreme tracks are far too difficult

Trials HD is an Xbox Live Arcade game released in summer 2009 costing 1200 Microsoft Points (aprox. £8)

The aim of the game is to guide your motorbike through various stages and levels with various difficulty levels: easy, medium, hard and extreme.
Whilst the game is essentially a 2D puzzle game, there is no lack of great detail and excitement happening around you and in the background, the game is also of course in High Definition, hence the HD at the end of the name Trials.

The most fun levels are on the medium and hard difficulty settings as they provide just the right level of challenge, easy is far too easy and extreme is infuriatingly hard, which does take a lot of enjoyment out of the game in the end, as I always like to complete my games, but had to give up on this one!

Trials HD also features mini games alongside the main tracks, the mini game's are things like riding your bike off of a ski jump or seeing how long you can stay inside a rolling ball without falling off your bike.

All-in-all Trials HD is a very fun game that you'll get a good few hours enjoyment from, particularly as a group of friends, the social enjoyment of this game is huge.

Summary: Worth the 1200 MS points, but would probably be more fairly priced at 800 - Still worth a punt!
