I cant explain how excited I was to get this 'game' at the end of 2011, ready to start the new year on a new work out regime. It looked great in the reviews and the magic of the Kinect made the whole experience of the last game made it seem futuristic and exciting!
I was not disappointed.
It firstly takes your height, weight, gender and age so it can work out your BMI and how many calories you specifically would lose doing the various exercises/games.
You can choose where you want to begin, either specific regimes for your arms, legs, butt etc, or martial art boxercise, or maybe dance routines or even a bootcamp (a new feature on this version). Each one tests your stamina on different levels so you can push yourself to your limits. It also comes with games like jump rope (basically jumping on the spot to an imaginary computerised rope, and Run the World where you jog on the spot (but the screen shows you running throug the streets of London, New York etc).
This game is so much fun, and you can really monitor the calories you lose. It keeps track of all your details so each visit will show your current status. The new features are such an improvement on the last, but sometimes the lower floor activities are lost on the camera so you definatelt need the room to move about and for it to capture you. You can re-calibrate your camera, though, so dont worry if it doesnt work first time.
