Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance is actually a very fun hack-n-slash adventure game. I think the comparisons some have made to the PC game is unfair. From the outset this game is designed to be a basic gauntlet style game. The limited options are probably due to the fact this was not so much about role play as action. I bought this game off the back of playing baulders gate tales of the sword coast for the pc. I really shouldnt have bothered. the game is quite simply poor. The gam itself can be finished in under 20 hours with out even trying and once you have completed you wont even want to replay using the special character you have unlocked. The amount of equipment equipable is extremely dissapointing especially after playing the pc games. There wasnt that much of a storyline to get you hocked either. To be honest if you like action games or rpg dont buy this as you will just feel dissapointed and will put you off future games. The second game of baulders gate for the x box is much ...
