What Is It? What a question. Championship Manager is the most addictive game that I have ever played. Not only that but it is also the only game that I have felt so passionate about. Your target is to take control a football team and bring that team to the promised land of international success. You have the ability to manage a range of teams from third division English league teams to Serie A or even international squads such as Nigeria and Brazil. Installation The installation process is very simple. Follow the instructions that load from the self-unzipping screen and everything should be fine. There are no surprises. Despite the text-interface, the hours of play needed, the vast amount of statictics and number crunching, this game somehow distances itself from the "nurd" reputation that any other similiar game would have. I personally find this game more addictive than anything else in ... Read the complete review

Championship Manager now includes many new features the original versions lacked. These include: being about to manage in 26 different countries, a more sophisticated, EU-regulated transfer system, better scouting and training systems, more interactivity with the board and attribute masking and "random players" options which give the game more depth once you have memorised all the real player stats. Although Championship Manager now lets you manage teams in 26 different countries, I have only devoted any sreious time to the English, Spanish and Italian leagues. The South American leagues have totally different competition systems, which I simply ... Read the complete review
