An action adventure game for the Xbox. The Godfather is the second game based on the films and book of the same name. It was released in March 2006 by Electronics Arts and has also been released for most of the other main consoles.

You play as gangster who has just been recruited into the Corleone crime family in New York and the game is set between about 1945 to 1955. You can choose your own character and create the character to your own liking, as you go along the game you can earn experience points to improve your characteristics. The main part of the game is set over about 18 different levels and you have to raise yourself though the ranks and earn the position of Don and take control of the family.

The game is well written and the story is good, the cut scenes have been well made and the graphics are pretty good. There is plenty of missions and options to choose from giving plenty of game play options, if you like the films or the books this game is probably worth tying and it is a big improvement on the first game.

Summary: good action game
