. This game is a science fiction first person shooter developed by Valve Software. The original Half Life was revolutionary due to its cinematic approach and gained millions of fans around the globe ensuring a sequel was inevitable. After countless delays Half Life 2 (HL2) was originally released on the PC in November 2004. When I first got into the Half Life series, I did do it in a rather a bizarre order. You see I've never played Half Life, but the sequel generated so much hype I found myself inevitably drawn to it. Although this did put me in somewhat of an awkward position, as I had no idea what was going on, a quick bit of wikipedia research brought up me to speed and I was finally able to fully enjoy what is probably one of the greatest gaming achievements of the decade. Now he's been woken up. Dragged out of stasis and put on a train. Where's he going? How long has he been asleep? It must have been a while, because everything seems a ... Read the complete review

This is a great FPS and was originally released on the PC. Having it on the Xbox is great as I have always preferred using a controller over a mouse and keyboard. The storyline of Half Life 2 is that you play as a character named Gordon Freeman, who is a scientist. just like in the prequel. You start on a train listening to the G-Man going to City 17. This place is being controlled by The Combine who you will fight against a lot in the game with many different weapons, including crowbars, gravity gun, machine guns and pistols as well as others. The graphics are very good as you would expect from a Half Life game but the still very annoying fact ... Read the complete review
