Halo 2 dissapoints the masses (Halo 2 (Xbox))

Advantages: Soemthing to do whilst waiting for halo 3

Disadvantages: Not anywhere near as good as halo 1

Well, going against the grain here, but I was honestly dissapointed with Halo 2, having pre-ordered the game and been teased by all the trailers, it really wasn't as free flowing as the original Halo.

Halo had set such a benchmark for others to meet, the second in the series had such high expectations, though didn't even meet the standard of the first.

It felt Halo 2 was a quick release due to the time taken to produce Halo 3. There were internet rumours of this, though never confirmed.

The storyline lacked depth, the graphics and final product was clearly rushed, the gameplay didn't feel as smooth as the original and the multiplayer was a dissapointment. The online community speaks for itself, there are nowhere near the same amount of players online as there are on Halo 1 and 3. Having spent £40 on the game, I find myself playing 1 and 3 far more often, this one just gathers dust and might get it out every now and then.

Overall a good game but a real dissapointment, that's what heppens though when you have set a previous benchmark so high!
