This is one of my favourite games on the XBox. It is quite dated now from when it was released but I still enjoy replaying it and find it extremely entertaining. You play as the character of Max Payne who is a cop. He went home late from work one day and discovered his wife and child had been murdered by drug addicts. You then are on a revenge mission and have to decide whether to go undercover to take down the drug ring from the inside that killed your family. I bought this game on the recommendation of a friend of me (who is a games fanatic) and he said, HE LOVED IT. I had to try it. At the beginning, I also was over the moon about it, the slow motion trick is fantastic (or so I thought!), imagine, walk to a room full of baddies, and being able to manipulate time, shot them in slow motion (them not you!), all in motion-picture like images, awasome. THE GOOD: The good, this is a no brainer. This game was very good. It had a bullet time mode on it so if you hit the left trigger button on your controller you could slow time down to look like the MATRIX!! And it also helps you dodge bullets. The story line was very good because like it brought out sarcasm, humor, action, horror, and even some suspense here and there. I never really got frustrated with this game only at the last part i had to look at the walkthrough because i didnt know what to do after about 6 hours of playing.
