Need for Speed: Most Wanted (Xbox) ... Wanted revolves around a nameless racer who enters the illegal races. After an altercation with another racer, however, things go horribly wrong. His car is sabotaged and lost to the same punk who fought with him earlier, and then the nameless hero ends up in jail. With a little help from his friend Mia, he gets out and starts making plans to reclaim the title of street racing champion. The new addition of running from the cops is a cross between racing and a stealth game. Players start out with only one car after them, but the more cops they avoid, the more the police throw at them. Helicopters, barricades, unmarked cars, and more will eventually make an appearance. The goal of the cop chase is to get out of visual sight and then stay hidden until the cop meter drops to zero. Of course, there are a huge number of races to win as well and over 30 licensed cars to drive, including the Chevy Supra, Ford Mustang GT, and a Lamborghini. Though both Need For Speed Carbon and Pro Street have come out since the release of this game, it still remains a classic in its own right. The Need For Speed games seem to have become somewhat of a genre on their own and are still progressing now. Before Most Wanted the Need For Speed titles focused heavily on the underground street racing scene, both of the previous two efforts were pretty average but this one is a whole lot better. The game comes with all the same modding options and more just like in the previous games, the gameplay is much more satisfying this time round and the game feels much better to play. If you familiar with the game you'll definitely want to buy this game as it's fun and interesting to play. This time round the big difference is that you also face police as well as your opponents, every step of the way police cars try to surround you several of them at a time and they seem to ...

Electronic Arts have been busy creating Need for speed games since 1994. Back then, the original need for speed was a big hit and 11 years later in 2005, EA released they're 12th game in the series - 'Need for Speed: Most Wanted' which has failed to disappoint. The first thing I noticed when I started to play the game was the detail. The textures of roads, buildings and cars are alot more detailed than any other need for speed game before it. For example, the very realistic trees cast shadows onto other surfaces, and these shadows move as the tree does in the wind. This is a big step forward for EA as trees in other need for speed games have been quite still ...
