Though both Need For Speed Carbon and Pro Street have come out since the release of this game, it still remains a classic in its own right. The Need For Speed games seem to have become somewhat of a genre on their own and are still progressing now. I found Most Wanted to be an incredibly enjoyable affair as I did my best to race through the blacklist of the best racers whilst trying too keep the police off my back and performing various tasks in order to proceed to the next level. Being given certain tasks for each blacklist level that you are on is great fun as you try and get the speed cameras to clock you, smash up the necessary amount of cop cars, hide ... So, the new Need for Speed Most Wanted. I found it to be a truly awesome game. I think that graphics are immense... that is on your own personal car. The surrounding cars on the road don't have quite as good graphics, actually they look a bit like toy cars. However, the same can be said for all Need for Speed games so I won't downgrade the game to much over that. The sound effects on the cars are like the graphics, very realistic. The best thing about this game however is the police chases. I could sit for hours just messing about with them, you get all sorts of different types of police vehicles chasing you, including choppers. The pursuits can really last ... Read the complete review

Before Most Wanted the Need For Speed titles focused heavily on the underground street racing scene, both of the previous two efforts were pretty average but this one is a whole lot better. The game comes with all the same modding options and more just like in the previous games, the gameplay is much more satisfying this time round and the game feels much better to play. If you familiar with the game you'll definitely want to buy this game as it's fun and interesting to play. This time round the big difference is that you also face police as well as your opponents, every step of the way police cars try to surround you several of them at a time and they seem to ... Electronic Arts have been busy creating Need for speed games since 1994. Back then, the original need for speed was a big hit and 11 years later in 2005, EA released they're 12th game in the series - 'Need for Speed: Most Wanted' which has failed to disappoint. The first thing I noticed when I started to play the game was the detail. The textures of roads, buildings and cars are alot more detailed than any other need for speed game before it. For example, the very realistic trees cast shadows onto other surfaces, and these shadows move as the tree does in the wind. This is a big step forward for EA as trees in other need for speed games have been quite still ... Read the complete review

From the second you pull away from the starting line, you see the world blur past your eyes and know, this is another nitrous injected wheel screeching instalment of the need for speed series. This is truly an amazing game in all senses. It has sleek and detailed graphics that really do give you that sensation of speed that EA are famous for in this series. Every twist and bend you take, you will notice the highest level of detail whether it's the reflections of street lights across the puddle scattered roads after rain or the glair of oncoming traffic as the sun reflects of their bonnets this is truly a visually stunning game. This game sounds ... Read the complete review
