Advantages: Nice graphics, good replay value, many characters

Disadvantages: Nothing very new or exciting

For a boxing game, Rocky is pretty good, but for a movie-based game, Rocky is very good indeed. However, that isn't saying much as usually they are dreadful.

In Rocky, you can have a quick fight against an opponent of your choice (there are unlockable characters to fight and play as also), play in a tournament or go straight for the career mode. All of them are pretty fun but the campaign is pretty easy with very limited AI.

The main thing I didn't like about Rocky was that it brings nothing new to the table, it's pretty basic and can get boring at times. It's a mediocre game at best. However, what is enjoyable, although done a couple of times before, is training with Rocky to build up his stats this makes the game feel less linear and also involves you more with the storyline, which basically just takes you through Rocky one to five.

It did manage a pretty good rating of 8.7 from IGN, which surprised me a bit.

Summary: A good, solid game which will entertain you
