Advantages: Cartoon look to it

Disadvantages: No challenge at all.

If this was a film then it would be up for a golden raspberry rather than an oscar as it is a total turkey of a game and definately not even worth the cost of the rental let alone the purchase price. Mind you if you are under the age of eight (then what are you doing up this late and on the internet?) this game might be quite enjoyable and ignore what I'm about to write.

The premise of the story is that a group of robotic creations which were made by a character called Winslow Stanton (voiced by Adam West of 60's Batman fame. Originally intended for use in theme parks these robot creations have now run amok in the parks and Scooby and the gang have to go and sort out the mess.

What you are basically left with is a basic platform game with a few jokes in it and not a lot to challenge you to any great depth. You merely bash your way through each of the levels until you get to the final boss at the end who is a bit more challenging to overcome however it is pretty easy to work out what you need to do.

This game is definately aimed at the younger player as repetition is the way forward, you will find yourself using the same slid attack button as it means you incur the least damage even though Scooby does have a few neat Kung Fu moves to use, he can also adopt some disguises to achieve some objectives and along with directional signs you are pretty much prompted when to use them.

Playing the game does have the feel of being in a cartoon and this is probably what most people would enjoy, I found the characters moved smoothly and the game has a nice feel however it is just so easy to play it is not worth the money to buy it.

Definately not recommended even to rent unless you are under the age of ten or have the same mental age.

Summary: Game for the under 10 brigade
