Star Wars Jedi Knight Jedi Academy for Xbox has some nice graphics and some good gameplay. The game allows you to go around in first or third person and try and defeat the dark side of the force. The good thing about this game is the different variety of force powers you have, such as force lightning and force heal. The games levels are not overally massive but you can ride vehicles on certain levels, not many though. You can collect weapons droped by enemies or you can find them on walls, floors and in secret places. You can use lightsabers and weapons, but you can do special moves with the lightsabers which i found cool.
There is the option of playing with a friend or online. I play mostly the multiplayer option as it's easier for me to play with someone else i can see. You can add or take away players from the gameplay, so you can have a computer bot or five computer bots competing to get as many score points as possible. You can also collect weapons but the multiplayer gameplay is not as big as single player as you are only in area sized rooms/areas.
The game itself was good at the time, and obviously there are better star wars games out now. But this is good to have in your collection and the option for multiplayer always makes the game better. I would reccomend this game if you are a star wars fan, but if your not you might want to look somewhere else. Also if you find it really cheap i would suggest buying it even if you not a fan as it can be fun to play!
On first looking and starting the game I was amazed by the lovley graphics... What I then realised that what It had in graphics it sevearly lacked in gameplay...
I found the controls too awkward, movment was just weird and all enemys seemed to be and act the same... The enemy AI seemed to have been used for all the enemys in thu game without any variation.
Also the plot is also linear, you get little choice in what you do it's just level after level, enemys are too easy, you just swing the lightsaber around wildley and they die...
Playing time I have no idea about as I was honestally too bored of it after 30 minuites to reach anywhere near the end.
In conclusion I really wouldn't advise this game, even for starwars fans... I just disliked it that much...
