Do not let the introduction fool you, this isn't the sort of ninja game where you can just run in guns blazing. Its more about positioning, and making quick silent kills before the enemy knows what hits them. To aid you with this, you have various equipment, from catraps (sort of 3 pronged spikes you chuck on the floor, useful for running away), smoke bombs, ...more

Tenchu is a ninja game based on xbox. In this game you can play either missions, or levels (you can play the levels after you unlock them by doing the missions). Descend from the heavens, Execute an unsuspecting foe from behind, leave no trace. This game is gripping and exciting throughout, with a choice of two charechters and a selection screen before missions allowing for a choice of ways to execute the mission this game has a VERY HIGH REPLAY VALUE. The point based scoring system too allows for missions to be implementated in different ways, do you dare risk all out warfare or will you follow the true path of the ninja and use a combination of stealth and execution style moves. The ai in this game is not especially high although ...  Read the complete review

Japan is a beautiful country. It has an extraordinary history derived from the fact that as an island nation it’s culture has been allowed to develop, virtually undisturbed by the rest of the world, for a period of almost 2000 years. It is this exceptional history that has allowed the development of unique and beautiful forms of religion, art and entertainment such as Shintoism, Kabuki and Noh theatre, Ikebana, the tea ceremony, Hentai and Bukkaki….. So what’s the first thing that’s springs into my mind when someone mentions Japan? Ninjas. Ninjas are brilliant aren’t they? Since the early 1980’s when I first got my grubby ...  Read the complete review
