Wow. I played the first splinter cell one the Xbox and I was hooked. Then the second came out and they introduced multi player. I didn't know where to look! Then they released this. What could I do? Well, first I forced myself not to play multi player. I just had too. Just so that I didn't feel I was missing out on anything and what a dream to play it was. Splinter Cell, based on fiction by Tom Clancy has always been a game about stealth. In theory (geddit? Theory?) you can get all the way through the game without being seen once by the usual wandering enemies. You play a character named Sam Fisher. His job is basically to stop world war from ... Splinter Cell Chaos Theory is the third installment in the series. Again, you play as Sam Fisher, a veteran splinter cell who simply does not exist to the real world. You are part of Third Echelon, who are a secret service and protect America behind the scenes. As an agent, you get many weapons and gadgets at your disposal such as sticky shockers, air foil rounds, silencers, pistols, SC-20K and more. You can also use combat by breaking necks, knocking people out and interrogating people for more information on your mission. The game consists of linear missions one after the other... which I love. I like being told exactly what my objective is and ... Read the complete review

Splinter Cell Chaos Theory was one of my favourite games on the original Xbox and getting a huge rating of 9.6 from IGN this game was a real success. You are Sam Fisher, a veteran NSA agent, highly skilled in espionage and... well killing. Don't expect to be running and gunning like in Call of Duty or Black, instead you will be planning routes, silently breaking necks and using every bit of shaded area you can find. As in the previous Splinter Cells you will have a bar indicating how well hidden in shade you are which is extremely useful when you are surrounded by several guards and need to pass them, with no deaths. The point is that you don't want ... Read the complete review

This must be one of the best games that I have played in the past few months and would probably make my top ten list if I could be bothered to write one. Once again for those who have played pervious versions of Splinter Cell you take on the role of Sam Fisher, the secret American agent whose role it is to do the dirty jobs no one else wants to do. In this game there is a conflict between the USA , South Korea and Japan over the control of information and you have to carry out a number of missions, in fact the most boring part of this game is receiving your mission instructions from your commander, once understood it is straight into the action.
