Advantages: good gameplay, excellent music. best out of the pro skater series

Disadvantages: some tricks you cant do on later games.

i have always been a fan of tony hawks games but to me this is the best one out of the bunch! you can design your own characters and skate parks! there's so much more tricks you can do on this game compared to the others. its advanced both in game play and the graphics. The characters in each level are genius and so funny. you can step into the shoes of a ton of top pro skateboarders and then skate through clever, colorful levels, completing challenges as you go. There are 2 different modes, career mode or freeskate. Career mode you can go through each level completing challenges to unlock new levels, skater, stickers and boards. The freeskate mode allows you to skate any level and do whatever tricks you want for as long as you want. Though you cant free skate on some levels unless you hve unlocked them in career mode. The music is an excellent mix of rap, rock and punk and really sets the whole game off nicely.

Summary: excellent fun
