Advantages: Better than THPS3, Best Extreme sports game ever, Funny, fun, quick, great laugh.

Disadvantages: Graphically poor, Ocasionally too HARD

Wahey dude, lets do some mad flip tricks and couple it with a couple of nice Indy twists man!

What do you mean you don’t understand my slamming Skater jargon? Well then man you need to get down to the old mall and grab yourself a copy of that there multi-format game, featuring the man himself Tony Hawks… no not that one you need the best one… yeah that’s it the fourth one.

Why is it the best one? Wahoo dude because its simply sick man, I mean look at it, yeah it uses the same worn down graphical style of the last game but that aint where it’s at man, no way it’s the gameplay dude. You can skate around now for like ages, until you get bored, and you go up to these sweet players who ask you to do stuff, you can perform mad tricks or grab yourself some sweet cash… maybe they’ll ask you to collect stuff or do even harder tricks. It’s wicked, you can buy secret characters with the money and you can play as that dude that uses his jet pack in that star wars film… Jango Fett yeah that’s him!

Why’s it better than the last one? Because it just is dude, this game teaches you to link you tricks and do mad combos, something you had to work out by yourself last time, it is also bigger with loads of missions to do and now it has RPG elements because you interact with people. It is also so funny man I mean there’s this guy called Ranger Bob who is evil and he has an enemy who you are helping… it lasted 2 minutes but I was in stitches! And then you have to help this elephant escape through London, it was tough man but I did it! And there are ghosts, penguins, swearing coppers and everything dude, the game is so sweet. It still has the addictive gameplay of the old games but its slicker and with loads of set pieces; you can still train your character like the last game as well, which is cool.

The music? Well man this is where its really at, you got some slamming p
unk sounds from Goldfinger and Less than Jake and some real heavy metal stuff from Iron Maiden… not to mention the rap stuff too. The sounds are also down with it, the noises are like real skater parks, this is why gaming rocks! I haven’t had this much fun in ages and just when I thought I had nearly finished it they throw a load more at me! It lasts forever and is so much fun, got me a bit frustrated but still I loved it!

So what you waiting for man? I mean come on I told you how sweet it is, it is hard in places, easy in others but whatever it is it is so addictive, you won’t stop till you opened all the secret skate parks and characters! What multi-player? Yeah there are loads of sweet stuff here dude, you have to beat your friends tricks and stuff and get bigger combo’s, as well as race to get the most scores… whatever you want. It is all so sick and you can even build your own skate park and create your own skater… this game has everything! All multi-format games should be like this dude, Neversoft rule YEAH!
